Application for Investment Funds

Prior to submitting an application for funding, read the Terms of Investing, Investment Criteria and 10 Commandments of SEI Investing.

There is a $100 filing fee required to process your request.  If the investment committee approves your application for presentation before our members, there will be a $300 charge to cover the cost of preparation for the presentation and to defray the expenses relating to the breakfast that is served to the investors.  

To request consideration for funding, click on Submit Business Plan on the Home page or go directly to the Apply to Successful Entrepreneur Investors page.

After the request for funding is received and the filing fee is processed, SEI’s screening committee will review the application.  If the committee approves your application, you will be invited to make a presentation before SEI’s membership.  If the committee does not approve the application, SEI will recommend a resource to assist you in improving your chances of success.

After the initial presentation, if there is sufficient interest by a number of SEI members, a due diligence task force will be formed to meet with you to complete the due diligence process.  After the completion of due diligence, the investment committee will decide whether to present your company to the SEI members for consideration for early stage funding.
